Simple question. I would appreciate if someone could help me and explain. Thanks. If f(2) =4, then what can you conclude about f(x) as it approaches 2.

  1. it's going to equal 4 or it is approaching 4. pretty simple...


  2. You cannot make conclusion unless f(x) is continuous, in which f(x) - > 4 as x - > 2
