  1. Hold both hands up with palms out and fingers spread.

    For 9 x 1, pull your right little finger down. The answer is the number of fingers to your left, or 9.

    For 9 x 2, pull down your right ring finger only. The answer is, looking at it from another person's point of view, 1 (your right little finger) and 8 (the other fingers). 1 and 8 make 18.

    For 9 x 3, pull down your right middle finger only. The answer is, again from another person's point of view, 2 (your right little finger and ring finger) and 7 (the other fingers). 2 and 7 make 27.

    For 9 x 4, pull down your right index finger. The answer is 3 (your right little, ring and middle fingers) and 6 (the other fingers). 3 and 6 make 36., etc.

  2. i never heard of that before...thats not bad.

  3. What you do is you hold both hands up, count the number of fingers that your multiplying 9 by, and put this finger down. Then the number of fingers you have before the down finger, is the first number of the answer, and the number of fingers after the down finger is the second number :)

  4. just put your hands out in front of you palms down and put down the finger of the number you are multiplying by 9. like if you want 9x4, put down your pointer finger in your left hand, and if you want 9x8, put down the middle finger in your right hand. then the answer is just how many fingers to the left of the finger you put down is the tens digit, and the right is the ones digit.

    make it a good day

  5. Using your example: Nine times three is twenty seven. You would hold up all ten fingers and place the third finger down. There are two on one side of your third finger and seven on the other side.

  6. see

        9  *  x   = x-1,   9 - first digit

    let me explain

       if you add the digits of 9 multiple it wii be 9

       9 * 2 = 18   =>  1+8 =9

       9*  5 = 45   =>   4+5 = 9

       9 * 6 = 54   =>    5+4=9

    this is true for all cases

    you can follow a simple rule

    9 into a no is equale to the no -1will be the first digit  and second digit 9- the first digit

    eg:  9 * 7 = 7-1, 9-6  since 6 would be the first digit

           9*  7 = 6 3

  7. Here are your fingers (left hand and right hand)

    \|||| ||||/

    9 x 3 = ?   So, bend down the 3rd finger from the left

    \|,|| ||||/

    There are 2 fingers up on the left and 7 up on the right.  The answer is 27.

    9 x 6 = ?   So, bend down the 6th finger from the left.

    \|||| ,|||/

    There are 5 fingers up on the left and 4 fingers up on the right.  The answer is 54.

    9 x 10 = ?   So, bend down the 10th finger from the left.

    \|||| ||||,

    There are 9 fingers up on the left and 0 on the right.  The answer is 90.

    And so on.
