  1. 1. 4

    2. 5/11

  2. When multiplying fractions, multiply the numerators and denominators separately....

    1)

    6/1 * 2/3 = 6*2/1*3 = 12/3 = 4

    2)

    10/11 * 6/12 = 10*6/11*12 = 60/132 = 5/11

  3. 6 x 2/3 = 12/3 = 4

    10/11 x 6/12 = 5/11 x 6/6 = 5/11 x 1 = 5/11

  4. 1) 12/3 which equals 4

    2)  60/132 which simplifies to 5/11

  5. to do the first problem you take 6 and put it over 1 this gives

    6/1 * 2/3

next you multiply stright across so 6*2=12 and 3*1=3 giving you

12/3   then just divide 12 by 3 that gives ya 4

you do the same thing for the second one 10 * 6 =60 and 11*12=132

    so    60/132

next reduce, 12 goes into both numbers 12 goes into 60, 5 times and 12 goes into 132, 11 times

    so the answer is 5/11

fractions can be tough keep at it practice makes perfect :)
