  2. You need to clear the square roots out of the denominator.  

    Start by multiplying by [sqrt(2) - sqrt(3)].[(sqrt(2) - sqrt(3)].  Since that's something over itself, that's 1, and multiplying by 1 doesn't change the value.  on the top, then, you'll have

    2(sqrt(2) - sqrt(3))

    On the bottom, you'll have

    (sqrt(2) + sqrt(3))(sqrt(2) - sqrt(3)) = 2 + sqrt(6) - sqrt(6) - 3 = -1

    So your fraction equals -2(sqrt(2) - sqrt(3)) = 2 sqrt(3) - 2 sqrt(2), whichever way you prefer to express it.
