  1. The solution is {x | x > -1/105}

  2. - 7x > (1/15) cross multiplying you will get

    - 105x > 1  OR 105x < - 1  OR x < [ - 1/105]

  3. Divide both sides by -7... when you divide by a negative number you need to remember to reverse the direction of the sign.

    x < (1/15) / (-7)

    x < -(1/105)

    x < -1/105

    Answer:

    { x | x < -1/105 }

  4. -7x>1/15

    -x>(1/15)/7

    -x>(1/15)*(1/7)

    -x>1/105

    x<-1/105

    Solution {x | x < -1/105 }

    --Anna

  5. since your deviding by a negative the answer is

    x< -(1/105)

  6. -7x>1/15

    7x<-1/15

    x<(-1/15)/7

    x<-1/105

    ...remember whenever you multiply variable "x" by -"this negative sign" you should change the direction,means that change < to > or > to <....."Good Luck"

  7. -7x > (1/15)

    (-7*(1/7))x > (1/15)*(1/7)

    -x > (1/105)

    x < -(1/105)

    answer is {x | x < -1/105 }
