If your counting the medians by using the "find half of the total data and count that from each side method" and you land on say 40 and 45 with nothing inbetween, then what would the median be? and also the IQR is found by Upper Quartile minus Lower Quartile and the Boundary adjustment is found by the IQR times 1.5, right?

  1. when you only have 2 number the median is always both numbers, personal experience, haha, and sorry but i cant help you with the second one. good luck (:

  2. The median is the average of the middle two numbers.  If you're numbers are 40 and 45, the median would be (40+45)/2, which would be 42.5.

  3. the median is then 42.5, the middle of the two numbers

  4. The median would be 42.5.

    And your right.

  5. the median would be 42 and 43 because those are the 2 middle numbers, or if you want an exact answer you add up both of them and divide by 2. and yes to the last part you are right

  6. 42.5

  7. your suppose to add them and divie it by 2 and thats your answer :)
