Math help trigonometric equations!!!!?

Question

solve the folllowing equations for exact solutions over the interval [0, 2pi)

note:I don't know how to type in the pi symbol

sinx +2 = 3

i came up w/ sinx=1 and i put in my calculator sin inverse of 1 divided by pi and came up w/ 1/2 so I made it x= pi/2

but that's not the right answer -- how do I solve this ?!?!?!?!

did you try using a different calculator? or if that's not the problem, maybe you have to do the inverse sin of x.
