  1. i would love to help you because to work them out isnt tht hard

but you'll only learn if you sit down, and concentrate

  2. In order to learn to add time in this manner you have to learn how to tell European type of pm time

    1 pm = 12 +1 = 13

    2 pm = 14

    etc

Just make yourself a pm chart

    and memorize it.

So you can tell that 20 = 8 pm

    and 17 = 5 pm

    23 = 11 pm

    just from memory

    or use the chart.

    1. 37 minutes before half past 5:00 P.M ?

subtract 30 minutes to be at 5 pm

subtract 7 more min to arrive at 4:53 pm

    2. 93 minutes past 4:15 A.M ?

    93 min = 60 min + 33 min

    4:15 plus 1 hr = 5:15 + 30 min = 5:45 + 3 min 5:48 am

    3. 211 minutes before 2:45 P.M ?

    211 min = 3x60 = 180 min = 3 hrs + 31 min

    2:45 pm less 3 hrs = 11:45 am less 31 = 11:14 am

    4. 14 1/2 hours before10:32 A.M ?

    14 1l2 hrs = 10 hrs + 4 hrs + 30 min

10:32 am less 10 hrs = 32 min aft midnite

    less 4 hrs and 30 min = 8:02 pm

    5. 404 minutes past 4:04 P.M ?

    404 min = 404 divided by 60 = 6 hrs + 44 min

    4:04 pm less 6 hrs = 10:04 am

    less 44 min = 9:20 am

    6. 111 minutes past 11:11 A.M ?

    111 min = 60min + 51 min

    11:11 am + 1 hr = 12:11 pm + 51 min = 1:02 pm

    7. 75 hours before 7:05 P.M ?

    75 hrs = 75/24 = 3 days + 3 hrs

    4:05 pm

    8. 700 minutes past 7:00 P.M Wednesday ?

    700 min = 700/60 = 11 hrs + 40 min

    7 pm + 11 hrs = (5+6) = 6:40 am

    9. 12 hours and 12 minutes past 12:12 P.M ?

to add 12 hrs you just switch it to from pm to am

    12:24 am

    10. 133 minutes past 1:33 A.M ?

    133 min = 2 hrs + 13 min

    3:46 am

    11. 606 minutes before 6:06 A.M ?

    606 min = 10 hrs and 6 min

    6 plus 10 = 16 which is 4 pm + 6 min =

    4:12 pm

    12. 11 hours and 11 minutes before 11:11 A.M ?

back 11 hrs to 12:11 after  midnight

and 11 min more back to midnight

  3. I won't give you all your homework answers, but here's some help to get you started. It all hinges on the 60 minutes in an hour, and 30 minutes is 1/2 way around the clock face. Always use the 60 and/or 30 minute amounts first, and then work with the remainder.

    Let's look at #1. Half-past 5 pm is ... 5:30. 5:30 minus 30 minutes is .. 5 pm again. And 7 more minutes before (or 5 pm minus 7 minutes) is 4:53 since 60 - 7 = 53.

    #2: 4:15 am plus an hour (60 minutes) = 5:15 am. 93 - 60 = 33 minutes left. So add that 33 minutes to 4:15 and you get 4:48 am.

    #3: 2:45 pm less 60 minutes (1 hour) = 1:45. Less another hour = 12:45 pm.  Less another hour = 11:45 am. Now, 211 - 180 minutes =  31 minutes left to subtract. 11:45 - 31 minutes = 11:14 am

So there ya go. You can finish them now easily.

  4. 4. 8:02 p.m.

    5. 10:40 a.m.

    6. 1:02 p.m.

    8. 6:40 a.m.

  5. 1. 4:53 P.M

    2. 5:48 A.M

    3. 11:14 A.M

There that should help you out but how do you know if they are right are not....

  6. i'm sorry but this is really easy. if you don't get it then you should pay attention in class. the stupidest person in my grade (7!) got this. and we learned it in like, 4th grade.

  7. I will be happy to help. And I agree with you: no rude comments! People who leave rude comments should leave!

    1. 37 minutes before half pass 5:00 P.M ?

Here you have the starting point at "half past 5:00 PM" or 5:30. Add 37 minutes to that and you arrive at 6:07 PM.

    2. 93 minutes past 4:15 A.M ?

Since our clock is based on 60 minutes, then simply move ahead 60 minutes to 5:15 AM. 93 min from 60 min leaves 33 min, so we add an additional 33 min to arrive at 5:48 AM.

    3. 211 minutes before 2:45 P.M ?

Here we're moving backwards so go back 3 hours to 11:45 AM and then go back another 31 minutes to 10:14 AM.

    4. 14 1/2 hours before10:32 A.M ?

Again we're moving backwards so first go back 14 hours to 8:32 PM and then go an additional 1/2 hour (or 30 min) to arrive at 7:58 PM.

    5. 404 minutes past 4:04 P.M ?

We move the clock ahead 6 hours to 4:32 PM, and since 404 - 360 = 44, we add an additional 44 minutes to arrive at 5:16 PM.

    6. 111 minutes past 11:11 A.M ?

Move ahead 60 min to 12:11 PM and since 111 - 60 = 51, we add an additonal 51 min to arrive at 1:02 PM.

    7. 75 hours before 7:05 P.M ?

Since our day is based on 24 hours, we know that 75 hours is actually 3 days and 3 hours, so just go back 3 hours to 4:05 PM.

    8. 700 minutes past 7:00 P.M Wednesday ?

NOTE: 700 minutes is the same as 11 hours and 40 minutes. So first move the clock ahead 11 hours to 6:00 AM and then add 40 minutes to arrive at 6:40 AM.

    9. 12 hours and 12 minutes past 12:12 P.M ?

NOTE: Since we know there is a change from AM to PM every 12 hours, all you need to do here is change the time to AM and then add 12 minutes to arrive at 12:24 AM.

    10. 133 minutes past 1:33 A.M ?

Go ahead 2 hours to 3:33 AM and then add 13 more minutes to arrive at 4:46 AM.

    11. 606 minutes before 6:06 A.M ?

Since there are 600 minutes in 10 hours, we go back 10 hours and 6 minutes to arrive at 8:00 PM.

    12. 11 hours and 11 minutes before 11:11 A.M ?

First go back 11 hours and then go back an additional 11 minutes to arrive at 12:00 PM.

Have a good day and a great 7th grade!

  8. My daughter in 7th grade could do this I just asked her.  And she sucks at math.  Stop trying  to have someone do your homework for you.  You will never go no where in life.

  9. i'm not going to do the work for you, but i will tell you how to do it...

    it's very simple. 60 mins = 1 hour.

i'll show you a hard one... number 8. 700 mins past 7:00 pm wed.

take 700 min and divide by 60 to get the number of hours. 11 hours and 40 mins. 11.66666 hours the .666666 is 2/3 of an hour which is 40 mins. so count forwards 11 hours and 40 mins from 7 pm on wed.

+ 11 hours and 40 mins puts you at ???????

do you understand what is being done????

  10. if it said before you will going to subtract

if it said past you will add

    1. half pass 5:00pm = 5:30pm

it said 37 minutes before so you will subtract

    5:30 minus 0:37 = 4:53

    4:53pm is the answer for # 1

    2.  4:15

it said past so you will going to add

    4:15 plus 93 minutes or 1hour:33minutes

    4:15 + 1:33 = (5:48  A.M. is the answer)

    3. 2:45pm minus 211minutes or 3hours:31minutes

    its 2:45pm minus 3hours and 31minutes

if you minus that you will go back to A.M

    the answer is 11:14A.M.

    4.  14:30 minus 10:32A.M.

    8:02pm

    5. 404 minutes divided by 60

    60 because 60minutes per hour

    6hours and 44minutes

    10:32am plus 6:44

    5:16 P.M. is the answer

    you can do the rest
