Write an equation of the line that has each pair of intercepts..

x-intercept: - 1, y-intercepts: 4

IDK how to do this.. if anyone knows please answer

  1. y = 4x + 4

    I got this by looking at the equation of a straight line:

    y = mx + c

    "c" is the y intercept which is 4

    "m" is the gradient which is 4 because if the difference in x is 1 then the difference in y is 4 which is 4 times larger then the difference in x.
