  2. Instead of asking someone to work out the problem for you, why not go to the website "Algebra 1 Homework Help?"

    http://www.algebra.com/algebra-1.mpl

You need to learn how to solve this problem so that you know how to do it again on a test.

  4. it depends, what is d?

  5. I got -3 :D Just simplify and remember  PEMDAS

  6. -3 i think.

    1/3 (15d + 3) - 1/2 (8 - 10d)

    (5d + 1) - (4 - 5d)

    1-4

    -3

  7. the answer is 10d-3      don't listen to the guy who said 26d, he's an idiot.  if you need to show the work.....

    1/3(15d+3)-1/2(8-10d)

    5d+1-1/2(8-10d)

    5d+1-4+5d

    10d-3

  8. 7

    one third of 15d+3= 5d+3

    one half of 10d-8= 5d-4

  10. First distribute,

    (5d+1) ( -4 + 5d)

    Drop Prentice's and combine like-terms

    5d +1 -4 +5d=

    10d-3

    final answer ^^

  11. 1/3(15d+3) - 1/2(8-10d)

    Distribute the 1/3 and -1/2

    5d+1-4+5d  (it's +5d becaues you have (-1/2)*(-10d)

    10d-3
