  1. slope is -4/7

    so equation of line is y = -4/7 x + c

    or 7y = - 4 x + C ( where C = 7c)

    as 2,8 is a point on line

    7 * 8 = - 4*2 + C or C = 64

    so 7y = -4x + 64

    fot the y intecept x = 0 so

    7y = 64 or y = 64/7

  2. first math terms : slope is the gradient and the symbol is m

                             y- intercept is called C

    and the equation of a straight line is y=mx + c

    so u jst replace wat u hv

    8 = -4/7 (2) + C

    8+8/7 = c

    56/7 + 8/7 = c

    64/7 = c

  3. you have,

    y =8

    x =2

    slope (m) = -4/7

    y intercept (b) = ?

    in linear eq. : y = mx + b

    so,

    8 = (-4/7)* 2 + b

    8 + (8/7) = b

    b = 64/7

    so y intercept = 64/7

  4. (y-8)/(0-2) = -4/7

    => y = 9 1/7
