The weight of a rock on the moon is 0.85N. If acceleration due to Gravity on the moon is 1.7m/s^2, what will be it's weight on the earth?

  1. Gravitational acceleration on the Earth is 9.8 m/s2

    So your answer is G = 9.8/1.7 * 0.85 = 4.9 N
