how many machines will be needed to complete a task in 15 days given that 5 machines can complete the same task in 12 days?

if you could also give me an answer on how you got the answer to the problem that would be great!

  1. 5 machines * 12 days = 1 task

    x machines * 15 days = 1 task

    5*12 = x*15

    60 = 15x

    x = 4

    4 machines
