  1. the sec. cancel out when you mutiply so its 120 rev./min

  2. (2 rev/sec) x (60 sec/min)=120 (rev/sec)X(sec/min)=120rev/min

  3. the answer is 120 RPM (revolutions per minute)

  4. 2 rev/sec  x  60 sec/min  =  120  rev/sec x sec/min

120 is your actual quantity,  but lets forget it for a moment

    and work on the terms.

what you have here for terms is:   rev x sec / sec x min

( numerators multiplied  over denomenators multiplied)

If this was a numerical fraction,  the sec would cancel out

and you lwould have  rev / min.  Your answer would be

                   120 rev/min.

  5. Ok, so:

theres 2 revolutions in a second, and there are sixty seconds in a minute. So in a minute, how many revolutions would there be?

  6. 120 revolutions/minute
