  1. 2.5+1=3.5

    6-3.5=2.5

    answer a:2.5

    hope this helps

  2. = 6 - (2.5 + 1)

    = 6 - (3.5)

    = 6 - 3.5

    = 2.5

    Answer: A. 2.5

  3. a

  4. You go, 2.5 (movie) + 1 (tv progrma) = 3.5 (all together what is taped)

6 (the amount of time on the cassette) - 3.5 (all together what is taped) = 2.5 (left over space)

    So A.

  5. A because 6-2.5 = 3.5 then 3.5-1= 2.5 which is A

    :)

  6. A: 2.5

    2.5+1=3.5

    6-3.5=2.5

  7. This problem is essentially a subtraction problem. You start off with a base number: 6. Six is the highest amount of recording power your tape has.

    Time Left = 6 hours.

Then, your Kendra decided to record some stuff on it. She first records a 2.5 hour movie. Since that part of the video is taken up and unavailable for future recording, she can just take that off her total.

    Time Left = 6 hours - 2.5 hours.

    Time Left = 3.5 hours

Then, she decides that she must record a 1 hour television program. Her time that she has left on her tape once again goes down.

    Time Left = 3.5 hours - 1 hour.

    Time Left = 2.5 hours.

And that is all the time she has left on her tape.

  8. 6-(2.5+1)=2.5

    A

    wth

  9. A

    6-2.5=3.5

    3.5-1=2.5

it doesnt matter that one is a movie and one is tv

  10. Your kidding right?

  11. Add 2.5 plus 1 and use that answer to subtract from 6. This will give you your answer.

  12. A. 2.5

The assumption is that the 2.5 hour movie and the 1 hour tv program takes the entire time stated.

    6 - (2.5 + 1.0) = 2.5

Actually this is 2nd grade math -- my daughter did this in 2nd grade.

  13. A.  2.5

  14. the answer is A but if you dont understnad it get some extras help cause this is SUPER easy fifth grade math

  15. A, 2.5

  16. A. 2.5

  17. 3.5

  18. 2.5

  19. E. Seriously?

    6-2.5-1=??

  20. the answer is 2.5   the movie was 2.5 hours right? then the tv show is another hour that equals 3.5 hours total recorded on the tape. If you add 3.5 and 2.5 you get 6.

Trust me, it's the right answer, I'm 28 yrs old and I'm a mommy so I know.
