In g(3) = -1, to graph it, would the point be (3,-1) or (-1,3)?

  1. g(x) = y, therefore x=3 and y= -1, which would make it g(3) = -1




  2. (3,-1) is the answer because g(3) = -1 can be written as this y = -1 ...

    It says in the function that if the value of x is 3 then the value of y would be -1...

  3. (3, -1) because the 3 is replacing where the x would have gone-- g(x)

  4. it would be (-1,3) because "g" is technically considered "y" and the order for a point is (x,y)
