Ok im in summer school for pre alge not cuz i failed but because i want to get ahead and we have a huge test tomorrow on chapter 13 which is like the hardest! anyways wenever it says to fill in a function table or graph a certain equation i always get thrown off when ther is fractions because i normally just divide the top to the bottom to a get a decimal but sometimes i get like 1.256978758 and so i have no way in graphing that. this fraction really throws me off 2/3 because its equal to .66666 something got any help? I REALLY cant fail this test if i do ill be bumed thanks for ANY advice i truly need it.

  1. idk how your teacher teaches you to graph but my teacher taught me to round so you would round it to 2.


  2. u have 2 round that number to graph it

  3. Then just use the fractions and don't turn them into decimals.  for instance:

    y=3/4x

    so in the table:

    Y             X

    3/4          1

    6/4          2

    9/4          3

    So then just graph the coordinates.  Just put the dots in the relative area between intervals, or i.e, for the fist point the X would be 1 and the Y would be 3/4 of the way between 0 and 1.
