what the differnent betwwen a weight measure and volume measure

  1. volume is how much "stuff" makes up something.  Weight is the number used to show the volume in relation to that area's gravitational pull.  The weight may change for instance you weigh 100 lbs on earth but only 2 on pluto, your volume will always be consistant, always the same.


  2. Volume is how much "space" that an object takes up.  Weight is the measure of gravitational force being exerted on an object's mass.  Volume can be measured in units like quart, cubic feet, liter, and so on.  Weight is measured in units such as pound, ton, kilograms, etc.
