Mathew Stevens, simply the best?

Is Mathew Stevens the worlds best snooker player. Maybe not in Technical, but in a snooker players point of view. Since 1999, I have believed Mathew Stevens as the worlds best snooker player, I do not know why, respect maybe?

have i missed somthing? i dont recall him winning the top events. any player on his day can be the best and he does have the potential. ask this question again in another 5 years
