Mathieu Bodmer and Nene clash at the Camp des Loges – Ligue 1 news
It seems that the upcoming Clasico between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille at the Stade Velodrome this Sunday is taking a toll on both sides’ players.
First it was Didier Deschamps and Andre-Pierre Gignac who made headlines after the duo’s heated war of words. Now, it seems that PSG are going on the same wavelength.
On Thursday in a training session at Camp des Loges, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056.
Coach Antoine Kombouare intervened to calm things down. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 midfielder Bodmer refused to pass the ball to Nene before a breather. The incident should have been done and dusted but the Brazilian Nene also wanted to have a say at
what happened at the training session. When the two faced eachother in the locker room, a heated argument started. So much was the anger shown from two players that a physical altercation was about to happen.
However, several players and assistant coach Yves Bertucci separated the two and calmed things down.
In two days, Les Parisiens travel to Rhone to face bitter rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 and Antoine Kombouare could have done without a new episode. Already, Les Parisiens are attracting too much attention from the media.
However, this is not the first time something of such magnitude has occurred in PSG. The game against PSG is certainly a big test for the new-look PSG side and all players want to do best against Marseille in order to have the bragging rights if they are
able to beat Deschamps’ men.
Week 15 of the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 campaign will see the two giants of French football clash together and the affair is bound to be a feisty one for sure especially after how former Marseille man http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Taye-Taiwo-c34728 and the Marseille faithful taunted PSG following
their Coupe de la Ligue final win over Montpellier back in April 2011.
With PSG level on points with Montpellier and Marseille going through a turbulent and difficult time, PSG are looking to inflict another blow to their rivals’ plans for the season but fighting between teammates is certainly not going to help PSG in beating
Marseille.
