While talking to the media, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mathieu-Bodmer-c24679 said that he might leave Parc des Princes this summer despite being lauded by coach Carlo Ancelotti due to his recent performances
Used well and complimented a lot by Carlo Ancelotti, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Mathieu Bodmer is certainly one of the few pre-Qatar PSG players who have a future at the club. often praised by Ancelotti for his quality passes, Bodmer is going through
a good period and has established himself as an important player in the midfield. However, this surely does not mean that he is considering a long-term future at Parc des Princes.
Earlier this season, the Frenchman admitted that he wants to extend his contract (which will end in June 2013), or leave this summer.
“I am always thinking with sense. I discussed this recently with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, when a player of my age comes
out of contract, we think that this is fishy. So I prefer not to take risks. I was included in a project for two or three seasons. I might look elsewhere without any rancour.”
This is a particularly interesting case as it gives a good insight on how QIA want to bring the project. A regular starter under Carlo Ancelotti, Mathieu Bodmer also appears as one of the first players who will be threatened by the summer recruitment.
PSG are set to go on another massive spending spree in the summer transfer window which means that many players could be asked to leave the club. However, Ancelotti could insist on keeping Bodmer at the club beyond the current campaign as the Frenchman has
done a great http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 in the midfield.
Bodmer’s performances in the final furlong of the Ligue 1 campaign will certainly go a long way in confirming his status at the club. With just a year left on his contract, PSG will not hesitate in offloading the player but Bodmer would certainly not struggle
to find a new club given his recent performances.
