While talking to media, France national team manager Laurent Blanc gave a few hints on the team that he would take to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983 and Ukraine in the summer. Debuchy and Cabaye might be on the plane to Eastern Europe
In his communication plan ahead of the European Championships in Poland-http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 national team manager Laurent Blanc gave some valuable insight into the 23 players he might take with him to Eastern Europe.
While talking about the players he would take with him to the Euros, the French tactician revealed that he might have already included LOSC Lille right-back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yohan-Cabaye-c37423.
Debuchy has been in fine form for LOSC Lille since the beginning of the season. His brilliant performances for Les Dogues earned him a national team call-up back in 2011. The 26-year-old was then handed his first start for Les Bleus in an international friendly
against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536.
France won that game 2-1 and Debuchy provided both assists for Olivier Giroud and Florent Malouda’s goals.
Yohan Cabaye on the other hand, has been a revelation for English Premier League side Newcastle United since his arrival from Lille last summer. The 26-year-old has been an integral part of the Newcastle side that is aiming for a European place for next
season.
And, Laurent Blanc feels that having the two former Lille teammates in the side would be great.
“When there are people who know eachother well because they have a common experience in a club, it’s interesting because they can transcribe it to the national team. These two (Cabaye and Debuchy), are like brothers and it’s good to have them both.”
Certainly, the duo has been a force to be reckoned with in recent seasons. In the 2010/2011 campaign, both Debuchy and Cabaye were a part of the Lille side that won the Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France for the first time in many decades.
Having the two players in the squad seems to be a justifiable plan made by Blanc as the two will complement eachother well.
