The full-back has revealed that he is interested in a move away from the Lille-based club, but would not want it to be during the January transfer window.

http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lille-OSC-c39800, as he doesn’t want to leave during the middle of the season.
The Frenchman is one of those players who have been strongly linked with a move to Newcastle United this season. The full-back was expected to move to St. James Park during the summer transfer window, but the move couldn’t be finalised. The 27-year-old was
disappointed at not being able to move to the English Premier League.
But now the Magpies have surfaced again with interest in the player, and seem keen on signing the French international. The defender could be an excellent addition to Alan Pardew’s squad, who hopes to bring in some defensive reinforcement in the upcoming
transfer window.
The addition of a player like Debuchy is just perfect, but that seems unlikely in the January transfer window for Newcastle United. The right-back doesn’t prefer a transfer during the winters, as he believes that it takes time for a player to settle down.
As new players need time to train and develop team-chemistry with their new clubs, the Frenchman feels that if a move should take place, then it should be in the summer.
The Magpies’ target-man stated while explaining his situation regarding the transfer:
“I didn't think about that period so far, but I can't see me leaving a team in the middle of the season.”
The player is looking forward to spending this season at the Grand Stade Lille Metropole, but refuses to rule out a January transfer as he said:
“I don't like that winter transfer market. However, you never know what can happen in football.”
Debuchy has more than 200 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit, and has also featured 12 times for the French national team. The player is considered a reliable full-back, one who also possesses attacking capabilities and has the tendency to play as a midfielder
at times.
