The France international has reiterated his desire to leave Grand Stade Lille Métropole this season despite the club stating that the player will not be sold
The 2010/2011 Ligue 1 champions are reluctant to let Debuchy leave this season, but the full back is determined to secure a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 before the end of the transfer window.
Lille president, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michel-c25453 Seydoux, stated earlier this month that he expects the France international to stay and LOSC do not intend sell him this season.
Les Dogues have already rejected couple of offers from the Premier League side, Newcastle United, who are keen to add the 27-year-old to their ranks.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mathieu-Debuchy-c24682 has refused to accept that decision and is hopeful of securing a move to the English Premier League before the end of transfer window.
Lille secured a convincing win in their first match of the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign against Saint-Etienne and the France right-back played the whole 90 minutes in that game.
While talking to reporters after the match, the want-away defender said that he doesn’t want to talk about his future at the moment and he will speak to the president regarding that in next couple of days.
"I don't want to talk about my future,'' Debuchy told reporters.
Debuchy, who was a part of Les Bleus’ squad at Euro 2012 in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032, stated that he is aware of the comments made by the club president, and it has disturbed him a little.
"I heard what the chairman said and that’s disturbing.”
The France international added that he has great affections for Les Dogues and he has remained loyal to the club over the years.
However, the right-back feels that it’s time to move on and he needs a new challenge in his career. Debuchy said that there is still some time left until the end of the transfer window and he will see how things turn out.
“The transfer window is open until September 4 (in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899). I still want to go. We will see.”
Newcastle United are expected to make one last offer for the Lille player and only time will tell if the Frenchman secures his much anticipated move to England or not.
