The French midfielder’s goal was indeed a brilliant one as he dribbled past Andre Barzagli before curling the ball beyond http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Salvatore-Sirigu-c32282 who could do nothing to stop the ball from going into the net. The goals was almost similar to the one the Marseille
man had scored against Borussia Dortmund in last season’s Champions League group game at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund.
And, Valbuena was also very happy with his performance and says that he enjoyed playing in the playmaking role for the national team for the first time. While talking about his future chances for the national side, Valbuena said that he does not know if
he has scored any points but admitted that he is ambitious all the same.
“It is one of my best goals, and one of the most moving because it came for my country, against Italy, and from a position where I had never played before for France. The coach has shown faith in me, the other players too. I don't know if I have scored points
tonight, but I am ambitious, I get on well with the coach, he has put me in a position where I have played for OM since the start of the season."
And, Didier Deschamps was also happy to see the player who he managed during his time at Marseille, do ever so well against Cesare Prandelli’s men at their own backyard.
And, after putting such a good display against a strong Italian side, Valbuena has indeed sent out a strong signal of intent to Deschamps who will have a selection dilemma once the World Cup qualifiers resume.
