The agent of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 forward has revealed that a move to one of the two Manchester clubs would attract the 28-year-old but added that the player is staying put at Stade Velodrome
Christophe Hutteau, Valbuena’s agent, has revealed that his client is going nowhere and he will only leave the nine-time champions of France if either Manchester United or Manchester City would come for him.
The agent was talking to reporters and on a question regarding a possible departure of the player, he replied that nothing like that is happening at the moment and the France international is more than happy to be with the Rhone giants. Things are going
really great for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mathieu-Valbuena-c24690 as the player has established himself as an integral part of the Marseille team as well as national team under Didier Deschamps.
Christophe Hutteau added that Valbuena has done pretty well at Marseille and the club has helped the player a lot in his career and the player knows that fact.
"If Mathieu has given a lot to the club, he is also aware the club has given him a lot too," Hutteau told L'Equipe 21.
Talking about the news regarding the future of the player in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, the agent said that unless there is an interest from the one of the two Manchester clubs, his client will not leave. He added that a player of Valbuena’s calibre simple do not leave a club
like Marseille in order to go and play for Newcastle United.
"For him, you don't leave OM to go to Newcastle. If, one day, it's one of the two Manchester clubs who come in for him, we'll think about it, but so will the OM board."
Hutteau added that neither he nor the player is interested in leaving the club, and Valbuena wants to stay at Stade Velodrome and help Marseille get back in the Champions Laeague.
"Neither Mathieu nor myself are talking about leaving. He has the club under his skin. The non-qualification [for the Champions League] was merely a workplace accident. He wants to be one of the players who bring the club back into the Champions League."
