Maths Degree, is it worth it?

I was wondering whether taking a BSc in Mathematics will be worth it financially in the long term. I say this in comparison to leaving school after A-Levels and working for a company whilst training for an accounting qualification.

I think it would be worth it.

Extra maths cant not help in an accounting job and if you were to leave your job it is held in high reguard with many employers.

It might be lots of work though if you were studying for a maths qualification and your AATs or further accounting qualifications.

A Math degree is very useful as it can be used in many fields.  Many companies are eager to have persons with math degrees.  I think it is worth it.
