  1. 0.5m By 0.5m = 0.25m²

    area of a tile = 0.25m²

    floor area = 111m²

    pcs of tiles(N) = floor area / area of a tile

    N = 111m² / 0.25m²

    N = 444 pcs. → answer

    --regards--

  2. area of each tile is  0.5 * 0. 5 = 0.25 m2 because area of a square if side square...

    total given area = 111 m2

    no of tiles = total area / each tile =   111 / 0.25 = 444 tiles..

    i hope i helped..
