Im doing my own homework but i reely dont understand how to do this question!!?? I cant wait till school coz we got the homework today && it has to be in 2moro? Im reely stuck

Can someone plz explain how to do this

10x - 1 = 8x + 6

x = 7 / 2 = 3.5

thats what i think but i do know what you have to do is get all the same units onto one side and do the some from there
