  1. if the median is n, then the five numbers are

    n-2, n-1, n, n+1, n+2

    mean = ((n-2)+(n-1)+n+(n+1)+(n+2))/5

    = 5n/5

    = n

  2. five consecutive numbers with median n. That means the third number is n.

    (n-2+n-1+n+n+1+n+2)/5=n

    Simply fy and you get n=n

  3. five consecutive numbers with median n,it means the third number is n.

    So the first is n-2,second is n-1,third is n,fourth is n+1,fifth is n+2

    so the mean of them=(n-2+n-1+n+n+1+n+2)/5=n

  4. n-2)+(n-1)+(n+-0)+(n+1).../5=n
