The Black Yellows’ star defender has stressed that the La Liga outfit have not yet spoke to him regarding a possible transfer in the summer
Borussia Dortmund key player Mats Hummels insisted that he has not been approached by the Spanish club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078 over a prospective move in the summer transfer window. The former Bayern Munich star has supposedly initiated interest of the Spanish side.
“There has been no contact, neither with Barcelona nor with any other clubs,” the 24-year-old was quoted as saying in an interview. “Should these rumors become a reality at one point, I will talk about it. And when I say now, that there isn't any truth to
them, people should believe me.”
Barca are monitoring his progress as they are looking to improve their defensive options following a host of injury problems this term. However, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international, who claimed last month that he would love to join them, has now stated that the Spanish
champions have not yet made a good offer for his services.
“It's not my duty to cool off rumours other people have made up,” he mused. “It's going to be extremely intense. I couldn't imagine that there will be a lot of goals at Wembley.”
He suggested that he has not talked to the Catalan club or with any other side. He further added that if he does move to the Spanish giants he will tell this to the media accordingly. As a result, people should trust him if he says that nothing has happened
until now.
On the other hand, the talented defender said that he is not supposed to deny speculation created by the media. Moreover, his side is due to play fierce rivals’ Bayern Munich in the final of the UEFA Champions League on May 25 at Wembley and he believes
that the clash will be very exciting.
Hummels revealed that fans should not expect a scoring fest in the final as both teams will be on their guards. The match will be very tough and anybody can win on their day.
