Question:

Mats Sundin to the Colorado Avalanche?

He did start his career with the Nordiques, which is the present day Avs. Could Sakic comeback and then swing Sundin to join him? Avs have plenty of cap space and getting Sundin will put them back in the top of the West.

  1. I think if he would go to the west, it would be with Vancouver. Just look at the contract he was offered!

  2. I don't think Sundin would put them back on top in the west...

  3. there is no way Sundin goes to the Avs. he will stay in Canada. Leafs, Habs, or Canucks

  4. That will not happen..i can't see him there, and like Ryan said...he's either gonna go to those teams or stay in Toronto.

  5. Yes Now Colorado and Minnesota will be the top 2 Teams in Northwest Division will put Calgary, Vancouver and Edmonton on the back Burner.

  6. I don't think they're intrested. I possibly could almost see it if Sakic retired but considering the money they give to Sakic (6-7mil) and the money Sundin's asking and demanding I can't see it happening

  7. Would be intresting but I don,t think he's leaving the East!

  8. Not a chance.

    Habs or Canucks.

    Hopefully the Canucks :]

  9. It would be interesting, but I have the feeling he's going to stay in the Eastern Conf.

  10. GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him go back to Toronto.  I don't know how much the leafs offered but if it's anything decent at all, that would be his preference.  Second choice probably Montreal.  I don't think Colorado is even in the mix.

When Vancouver offered him 20 million over two years, I nearly fainted.  As a long suffering Canucks fan, I could only remember back to the Messier debacle of a decade ago.
