Matsonic MS 8188E Bios upgrade

Question

I have tried to add a larger hard drive ( original was 20Gb ). Using a 40Gb as drive 0 the boot just hangs , if I go back to the 20gb it loads ok and will see the 40gb when it is drive 1 . I have tried the Matsonic website but it went out of action 20 July this year .The current bios is version 040201 and I belive there is a later version but I need to know where to download it from . Any suggestion please ?????Alan.
