Matt Kuchar is aiming high after winning The Players Championship!
It is high time for Matt Kuchar as he grasped The Players Championship this Sunday at Ponte Vedra Beach.
Kuchar is ranked sixth in the Official World Golf Ranking and is proceeding towards the number one spot with a great deal of confidence and resiliency.
After turning Pro, Kuchar won his first PGA Tour at the 2002 Honda Classic which got him in the headlines. His career started smooth and after a span of seven years, Kuchar won his second major title at the 2009 Turning Stone Resort Championship.
This is where Kuchar became strong at what he loves. After a year, he struck back and won The Barclays when he stood tall against Martin Laird.
By this time Kuchar had made a name for himself and he won the Arnold Palmer Award for leading the money-list.
His brilliant form continued as he made a satisfying start to 2011 and had good matches throughout staying in the top-ten.
It is 2012 when he came to The Players Championship as a star and outperformed every one. His win is considered his best performance by far after turning professional.
His 20-foot birdie was the star act at the Championship finale as it added to the winner’s charm.
"Yeah, absolutely I saw the putt," said Kuchar.
Kuchar had ease and confidence in his play which has been rare in the Championship. Tiger Woods can learn from this young man as he requires a lot of ease in his game and it is clearly lacking throughout his poor form these days.
His smile summed up everything before the final putt that got him the Championship.
"It's completely a natural reaction, I love playing the game of golf. I have fun doing it. I'm a golf junkie. ... The smile is there because I'm having a good time" said Kuchar after his win.
His career is shining with his charisma and charm, his play is precise and technical. Kuchar still has a long way to reach glory yet if he remains consistent with his form and play, the stars that he is aiming for, are not that far. Congratulations Matt
Kuchar.
