Matt Prior hopeful of England’s comeback on the 3rd day of the 2nd Test

Winning the toss on June 3, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 opted to field first at the historical ground of Lord’s. The English exhibited magnificent firepower in their first innings against the fragile Lankan bowling line-up.

The Lankans had piled up 231 before entering the 3rd day of the game.
Though the English are a little bit worried about Sri Lanka’s marvellous batting show, their wicketkeeper, Matt Prior, seems confident about their three top pacers.
Talking to the media last evening, the wicketkeeper said, “Things don't always go perfectly to plan in Test cricket. But the thing I know about this team and its character is that we'll come back tomorrow even harder, even better prepared and even more ready
and willing to hit the mark again.”
Prior further told, “We are not in a bad position and still have a 250 lead. If we do bowl and field well tomorrow, there's no reason why we can't get a good first-innings lead.”
England won the 1st Test game against the visitors at Cardiff by an innings and 14 runs.
The 29-year-old wicketkeeper batsman has 41 Test matches to his credit with 2148 runs and an average of 42.96.
Apart from being a reliable batsman, Prior is also an alert and active wicketkeeper who has a glaring record of stumps and catches.
