Matt Prior signs deal with DEC Bushrangers
Matt Prior has signed a contract with the DEC Bushrangers to play for them in the upcoming KFC Twenty20 Big Bash series. The English wicket keeper made his debut for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sussex-c852 in 2001. He has been part of the England A team and has also been consistently performing
for his team in Tests and ODIs even though his record in Tests is far better than that in ODIs. He averages 40 in Tests having scored 3 centuries and 15 half centuries. Prior will be teaming up with his Ashes rival Peter Siddle at the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Victoria-c859 club. The two
have been seen involved in heated exchanges during the third Test at Perth after Siddle dismissed the wicket keeper batsman.
The 28 year old wicket keeper batsman is expected to link up with the Bushrangers after the conclusion of the Ashes on January 9. He has not made the cut into England’s ODI squad. The Bushrangers have picked up Prior as a specialist batsman for their side
and have expressed their hope that he will be able to score some useful runs for their side.
"I was made aware of the Bushrangers needing a second overseas player a few weeks ago, I was really keen to join the team and be a part of the Big Bash competition. The Big Bash looks like one of the best Twenty20 competitions in the world right now, the

The other overseas player that the Bushrangers have signed up is the West Indian, Dwayne Bravo. Bravo is expected to feature in the first 5 matches of the tournament before heading back home for his domestic Twenty20 competition. He said he wasn’t sure what
position he would be playing at however said that it would be somewhere in the top 6.
Many English players are also expected to be auctioned during the signing of players for the fourth edition of IPL including Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad and James Anderson.
