The Poms lost 2-0 in the recently concluded NatWest Test series, which also saw them being relegated to the second spot in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 Test rankings. The right-handed batsman, who was the highest run-getter from his side in the recently concluded Investec series, suggested that he is ready to bat at the problematic no.6 spot in order to allow his side field in two spinners.
“If it helps the balance of the side for me to bat at six so we can field two spinners, I’m more than happy to bat there,” the English wicket-keeper further added.
