England’s wicket-keeper batsman, Matt Prior, wants his teammates not be complacent after notching the No. 1 position on ICC's Test rankings with a 4-0 clean-sweep against India, saying that the Englishmen now must assure their status as the top side for
a longer period of time.
Prior’s comments came after England’s thrilling innings and eight-run victory in the final Test, held at the Oval from August 18 to August 22, 2011. The four-match series proved to be a one-sided event, as the Poms outclassed team http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 in every department
of the game.

and come up with a stronger performance during their forthcoming series outside England.
"It's one thing getting to No. 1 but you want to stay there for as long as possible. This team's got everything we need to create a bit of a legacy and I think that will be our long distance goal. This team can go as far as it wants," said Prior who played
a vital role in his team’s comprehensive series win against India – scoring 271 runs in four games.
Besides his fantastic run with the bat, Prior displayed an excellent show behind the stumps, completing his 150 dismissals, including 144 catches and six stumpings in Test cricket.
Talking about England’s tactic of being aggressive and attacking against the World Champions, Prior revealed that it was a part of England’s strategy to be ruthless throughout the competition and give India no chance to bounce back.
"We've always talked about being ruthless, we want to be ruthless and the minute you get half a chance, you want to all pile in. It's not just one or two people, it's the whole team driving towards a victory," added the 29-year-old cricketer who migrated
to England from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 following his passion for the sport.
