Matterhorn bobsleds 2 lines?

Why Does the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland has 2 lines, one on the left and another on the right? Are they the same or is there a difference? It was my first time time on that ride, so I didn't know about the 2 lines. I went on the line on the right side. Then when I got closer to the front of the line, I saw the left line.

it is the same line, same ride, same durations, same everything :) they just split the lines into two, so it will be faster to load passengers into the ride! but don't worry, you didn't miss anything! it's all the same :)

The two tracks are slightly different. The left line, the Tomorrowland side, is a little faster and a little rougher while the right line, the Fantasyland side, is a little slower and smoother.
