The cyclist briefed that although his season started slowly but he had high expectations from the Tirreno-Adriatico.
Goss is now looking ahead to continue his form at the Milan-San Remo and the classics for the later part of the season.
While commenting on his form he said, "My form is pretty similar to last year. At Milan-Sanremo I was at the end of a peak of form”.
“This year I hope to be in slightly better form. However winning now is important for my morale and the morale of the team", Goss concluded.

He bagged stages at the Paris-Nice, Tour of California, Tour of Oman, Bay Classic series and Tour Down Under.
The 25-year-old was looking good for the overall dominance at the UCI Elite Men’s Road Race but could not match the likes of Mark Cavendish.
Cavendish claimed the first podium spot and restricted Matthew at the second position.
The Australian is now targeting the second stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico and he will definitely keep a close eye on Mark.
He cited, "The stage will probably end in a sprint, I'll be up against [Mark] Cavendish but against everyone else too. The last time I sprinted against Cavendish was at the Worlds in Copenhagen”.

Matthew is in ideal form to grab the top podium spot during the seven-staged race on March 13, 2012.
