Matthew Hayden considering a return to T20 in the Big Bash T20 Tournament – Cricket News Update
According to unconfirmed reports, the Big Australian opener, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adam-Griffith-c919 Bash T20 tournament, playing for the Brisbane Heat team.
Hayden, who retired from International cricket in 2009, was last seen playing in the third addition of the lucrative Indian Premier League with the Chennai Super Kings franchise.
However, he did not take part in this year’s IPL as he was busy running his own company, “The Hayden Way”. 
The hard hitter famously introduced the Mongoose bat, while playing for the Chennai Super Kings in 2010. The bat was specially designed to suit the needs of the T20 format. The new bat had a longer handle than usual whereas the blade was 33% shorter. The

Since debuting against the Kings XI http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Punjab-c833 in the first season of the IPL, he has been a vital contributor for the Chennai Super Kings franchise.
In total he has played 32 IPL matches over three seasons, making 1107 runs, averaging just under 37.
It will be interesting to see whether Mathew Hayden returns to play in the Big Bash tournament. His last notable contribution was a blistering 93 runs 43 balls in the initial phase of the IPL 3.
Hayden’s 380 in a test innings is the best individual score by any Australian and his ODI best of 181 is ranked second best by any Australian player after Shane Watson’s 185* recently.
The left-handed batsman is also a board member of Cricket Australia and is working with the government to build up Aboriginal cricket, finding talent in the indigenous population of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746.
In 2010, promoting Aboriginal cricket, Hayden led the Indigenous All Stars XI against the ACA Masters XI.
