Warner played his maiden Test match in the ongoing home series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SE-Marsh-c2470, who is not available to bat due to fitness issues. The batter opened the innings alongside Philip Hughes, but failed to score confidently,
losing his wicket for just 3 runs.
Despite Warner’s initial failure, Hayden believes that the youngster possesses immense firepower, which will help him advance his career in an excellent way.
The former great is of the view that young players get chances to prove themselves when seniors are not fit to play.
Talking to the media today, Hughes said, “David was ready and scoring runs and I'm sure his performances will be terrific, for however long he plays for. He's a very fine player.”

Warner, who is also known as Lloyd, made his international debut in 2009, and has played 10 ODIs so far. He also has 29 T20Is to his credit. The 25-year-old is still waiting for his maiden international century.
