Wade expressed, "That is one time when you really have to be at your best. I felt I had to contribute as a keeper and a batsman and knew runs would be handy for me. I worked really hard from the start of the tour and I reckon that hundred was the reward."
The wicketkeeper is now confident of holding a permanent place in the team for all the formats, although Haddin is all set to take back his Test slot in the next season.
"But now I think I can definitely hold my spot as a keeper and throw a few runs. I don't see myself as a keeper who bats a bit or the other way round. There are so many different aspects you have to nail now as a keeper," he claimed.
