The AS Roma head coach was quizzed whether the decision to offload Fabio Borini for the services of Mattia Destro was worth it; and he remarked that it was.

Zeman replied that in his opinion Borini was not as technically gifted as Mattia Destro. He further went on to state:
“Am I satisfied with the decision to sell Fabio Borini and bring in Destro? Yes, we made this choice based on technique and I think Destro is a more technical player than Borini.”
When quizzed about his plans for next year and whether he was happy with the depth in his squad, Zeman was relatively happy with the situation he was in and remarked:
“I already have a basic idea of my starting XI. I have a squad that covers every role with two players, then it depends on their fitness levels and my level of madness on which ones I use.”
