Matties Mate’s hat-trick in the Heat 3 endangered by Bush Bandit
The third heat at Henlow has invited Westmead Bertie, Benkaat Boy, Matties Mate, Any Dak, Mash Mad Snowy and Bush Bandit. The £150 prize money has enticed them into the 460 metres flat race, Heat 3, at Henlow for Thursday, 27th September. All
the entries have tried their chances at the open level before, and are quite very proficient at it.
The Peterson trained, Matties Mate, won the first two chances at the open level during the month of September. His first try was quite a disaster which ended in the sixth position on 30th June, 2012.
A training session on 4th September, 2012 at Coventry had Kinloch Brae’s son all set for the upcoming challenge.
The black dog took 29.30 seconds to take down the Premarket Pets Standard – Division B on 9th September, 2012 at Coventry over 485 metres. Taking flight from the fourth stall, setting into an initial high pace, and not compromising on the early
on developed lead had the two-year-old hound completing the track distance in 29.30 seconds.
Winning the £200 prize money due to the 3 ¼ lengths margin had Matties Mate defeating All Wonders to the second position.
The black hound out of, Lovely Dog, crushed the competition in the Abbey Meads 509er on 15th September, 2012 at Swindon over 509 metres. Shifting to the middle after breaking free from the second trap had him falling into the leadership stance
soon which had the race settled in 30.00 seconds.
Missing the race due to 3 ¼ lengths, Farloe Skywalker, had to consent with the second position.
Taking the third position behind the winner was, Forest Bonjo.
He is backed by 14 to 1 odds, and will race out of the third gate.
His success tonight is challenged by the 2 to 5 shot for the race, Bush Bandit, who has drawn the sixth, and is unbeaten in the last four races of the season.
Droopys Scolari’s son won the Primus Telecom Derby Trial Stakes on 20th September, 2012 at Henlow over 460 metres. Taking off from the same stall that he has drawn for tonight, the two-year-old landed the race in 27.35 seconds.
