  1. Slate gray, cream, light blue

  2. I would say..

    dark shades of blue

    biege

    brown

    tan

    a dark green

    or

like on my walls I did one wall dark blue and the other three beige/tan and it turned out great! You can put a tan shelf on the blue wall to contrast the colors and it looks maturly amazing!

  3. A warm grey can go with anything.  Great for guy decorating.

  4. Just about anything but bright primary colors, which look childish.

  5. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a muted red like "foxy" (# 6333), beige like "croissant" (# 7716), gray like "analytical gray" (# 7051) or a gold like "artifact" (# 6138) are all more grown up colors.

  6. it all depends on what you want the room to look like, your furniture, what kind of person you are.  maybe grey with some red or white accents.  maybe blue with deeper green accents.  or beige with browns?

  7. My son had his room painted steel-gray (blue-ish gray) and

it really looked awesome with his black and chrome-silver

    furniture.

  8. look into beige, brown, darker shades , it all depends on the style of furniture that you have , do you have a bedspread that has jewel tones? if yes pick one of those out and have it coloured matched for the walls.
