Yeah, sure it is a good move.  First, the money itself is enough to make it a good move for him.  That aside, Glasgow Rangers is one of the legendary teams in Europe, and a chance to play for them won't come very often.  Edu may not get that much playing time initially anyway, and not being in the Champions League this year doesn't mean that much.  Look at the big picture, and you shouldn't hesitate for a second to jump at the chance....Good luck to him.
