the newspaper says that he is a suitable replacement for josh childress, but evans is 6'5" and too small to interchange him between the 2 and the 3 position. i guess woodson will figure it out!

he's pretty good, but I dont think he will be good enough to take Childress's place! becuz if you comapre the stats Childress is better........BUT

It's about all the Hawks could do after being hit below the belt with the departure of Josh Childress, and for nothing in return. Evans is a good backup SG or SF, but he is not a starter and hardly a replacement for Childress on the bench. He'll be a good sixth man though.

The contract isn't a mistake, it's actually 7.5 million. It's funny how Kelenna Azubuike-who is arguably as good as Evans- recieved a three year 9 million offer from the Clippers.

Hes no Josh Childress. Hes a definite downgrade. The Hawks got a steal if they got him for seven dollars though. Ha
