The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is going through a terribly rough patch and the former Palermo man has received a lot of support from Maurizio Zamparini who has even questioned Carlo Ancelotti’s managerial credentials

Since his arrival at Parc des Princes, the attacking midfielder has been unable to really stamp his authority in the starting XI and has shown his inability to show his presence in recent games. The start of the new campaign has not been kind for the Argentine either.
Since PSG’s draw in the Clasico, a lot of criticism has been directed at the youngster. Pastore is no longer the player who was praised by players and media when he arrived at the Ile club. The Argentine, who is currently in his native country to take care of his ill mother, can however count on the support of the president of his former club, Palermo.
While talking to http://www.calcissimo.com/, Maurizio Zamparini came to the defence of the midfielder and did not hesitate in blaming Carlo Ancelotti for the player’s poor form.
The eccentric Italian says that it is Ancelotti who knows nothing about football and even said that he is glad that PSG lost to Porto in the Champions League.
“No. Pastore is not a flop. Pastore is a phenomenon. It is Ancelotti who knows nothing about football and you know what? I’m glad he lost in the Champions League. That’ll teach him not to play Nene behind two strikers in the position of Pastore. I do not like him as a coach.”
If that was not enough, the Palermo supremo went on to launch a scathing attack on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567, Milan and Juventus and says that he is doing the same thing with Paris.
“Pastore is a guy who is 23-years-old and is surrounded by bad people,” says the Italian.
Used to release sensational yet controversial statements every now and then, it appears that Zamparini has put the PSG men in a position where they will have to launch a retort of their own.
