Maurizio Zamparini puts 100 million Euros tag on Javier Pastore
U.S Palermo president, Maurizio Zamparini has slapped a mammoth 100 million Euros price tag on Argentine playmaker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder can leave the club, but only if the chasing clubs have 100 million Euros in their pockets.
Zamparini took this decision after discussions with Pastore agent, Marcelo Simonian who suggested a raise in the minimum release clause of the player.
Zamparini said, "Pastore's agent, Marcelo Simonian, was here against Juventus and we have raised his release clause to €100m at his suggestion.
I believe that Pastore and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Josip-Ilicic-c19564 could play as regulars for top clubs in Europe despite being young”.
Manchester City has taken keen interest in signing the young prolific playmaker in the summer. It looks like they have to raise a lot of money, as Palermo president has placed a mammoth price tag on his prized asset.
Previously, Zamparini had suggested he would not sell his classy player, but it looks like his plans have changed as major European clubs showed keen interest in the player. It is strongly believed that the Rosanero president is looking to raise more funds
by selling the Argentinean protégé on a very high price.
Argentine international has won the Serie A young footballer of the year award recently. The 21-year-old playmaker has emerged as one of the most promising talents in European Football. He has played a vital role for his team this season. Even though Pastore
is the leading goal scorer for Palermo, with seven goals – not to forget his three assists – the asking price is still too high for a young and inexperienced player.
Pastore has been recently linked with a move to Manchester City as they were taking keen interest in acquiring his services. The Argentinean protégé said, “I am not in any hurry, things are going well for me and I’m learning loads. I think I’m on the right
track, though I want to keep improving. I’m 21 years old and I’m just trying to take things one step at a time here at Palermo”
The Argentinean attacking midfielder has a bright future ahead of him. He has much to learn with his current club before the Rosanero president can cash-in on the rising star. It looks like Zamparini placed a mammoth price tag on the 21-year-old just to
ensure that his prized asset prolongs his stay with the club.
It has recently been seen that clubs are evaluating their assets with very high prices, as many moves in the recently concluded transfer market were unjustified regarding their price. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 signed Andy Carroll from New Castle United in 35 million Euros,
which is too heavy an amount for his excellence. He played 20 matches in English Premier League, as the Magpies won promotion in England’s top football league last year. The 100 million Euros price tag on Pastore cannot take place currently, but the rapid
inflation in the transfer market will render it affordable in the coming years.
